Welcome to day 2 of 12 Days of Christmas with Brenda and Melanie! Thanks for stopping by today. I am sharing an adorable gingerbread girl card created with the Gingerbread Man Bundle. She’s so sweet!
My crafty friend Brenda Zorn, from Stamps & Stretchy Pants, and I are having fun sharing holiday inspiration through our 12 Days of Christmas. Our projects are using 2 bundles, Homemade Treats and Gingerbread Man. They are both so stinkin’ cute! I hope you try some of our projects.
#165785 Gingerbread Man Bundle
Sweet Girl
For today’s project, I kept the colors soft and non-traditional to create this adorable little girl. Isn’t she sweet? I used the Modern Christmas Designer Series Paper to create her dress, then added rickrack accents colored with Wink of Stella. In real life, it’s shimmery and so cute!
Creative Tip: to get two full hands on the gingerbread man, use the partial die cutting technique and exclude the left hand, then re-align the die cut in the die and cut the left hand.
To Create This Project
Card Base – Petal Pink Cardstock cut 4-1/4″ x 11″, scored at 5-1/2″
Front Layer – Petal Pink Cardstock cut 4″ x 5-1/4″, embossed with the Pressed Flowers Embossing Folder
Gingerbread Girl – 4-1/4″ x 5″, stamped, heat embossed and die cut
Dress – Modern Christmas Designer Series Paper cut 4-1/4″ x 2-1/2″
Scraps of the following for die cutting – Fresh Freesia, Balmy Blue, Soft Sea Foam and Basic White Cardstock
Adhere embossed layer to card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Adhere gingerbread girl to card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Die cut designer series paper with gingerbread die, lining up paper in die accordingly to cover the body. Trim arms, and neck as needed. Color rickrack pieces with Wink of Stella and adhere to sleeves and across bottom of dress. Adhere dress to gingerbread girl with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Die cut bow. Color with Wink of Stella. Assemble, then adhere to gingerbread girl with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Assemble candy pieces and adhere to card front. Stamp sentiment from the Homemade Treats stamp set in Memento Black ink. Fussy cut and adhere to card front. Add a black twine bow to candy, black dots to eyes and pearls to dress.
For inside, adhere a 4″ x 1″ piece of designer series paper across bottom. Add candy pieces. Stamp sentiment in Memento Black ink.
Thank You

Welcome to 12 Days of Christmas with Brenda and Melanie! We are so happy to have you here to kick off this season. And I am starting it off with an adorable banner treat bag! So easy, and so cute! It’s perfect to hold baked goods or a gift.
My crafty friend Brenda Zorn, from Stamps & Stretchy Pants, and I have fun sharing holiday inspiration through our 12 Days of Christmas. This is our third year sharing with you and we can’t wait to share our adorable projects! We are doing something a little different this year by using 2 bundles for all of our projects, Homemade Treats and Gingerbread Man. They are both so stinkin’ cute! And by sharing so many projects using them, you will have tons of ideas for using your bundles!
#166017 Homemade Treats Bundle
Make Treats Extra Sweet
I love gifting treats to friends during the holidays. And it’s even more fun to gift them in adorable packages! This bag is really easy to create using the Party Banners Dies in any color cardstock you choose. Thick Basic White cardstock worked great for this bag. I added some All Season Velvet Specialty Paper around the top for color, then dressed it up with adorable elements from the Homemade Treats Bundle. It turned out adorable! And I couldn’t resist using some Peppermint Embellishments!
Inside the bag, I tucked some vanilla sponge cakes inside an Iridescent Treat Bag tied closed with Real Red & White Baker’s Twine. A little bit of red paper shreddie finished it off! So super cute!
To Create This Project
Cut (2) banners from Thick Basic White Cardstock using the 7th largest Party Banner Die
Thick Basic White cut 2-1/2″ x 11″, score at 1/4″ and 2-1/4″ on short edge and 3-3/4″ and 7-1/4″ on long edge
All Season Velvet (2) 5-1/2″ x 1″ pieces, score both at 2″ on long edge
(2) 12″ pieces of ribbon
Notch long strip at side score lines. Fold at all score lines and burnish well. This forms the sides and bottom of the bag. Apply Tear and Tape to the long edge of the strip, then adhere to banners. Adhere ribbon handles to outside of bag top. Apply Tear and Tape to velvet and adhere velvet around top edge of bag. Die cut cookie sheet with Silver Foil. Stamp and die cut (2) oven mitts and a rolling pin. Stamp and fussy cut sentiment. Embellish bag as desired.
Thank You

Welcome back! Today I’m sharing another beautiful card created with the A Child is Born stamp set. This project is watercolored then layered using a windowpane technique.
I created this project on my live last week. If you missed it, check out the video! I also shared this project! Both projects come together pretty quickly and are fun to create. Today’s project was watercolored using ink pads and a Water Painter. Use any colors you would like for coloring. Heat emboss the image to make watercoloring easier.
Today’s project uses the following ink colors: Early Espresso, Basic Beige, Petal Pink, Cloud Cover and Smoky Slate.
After coloring the main image, cut into 6 pieces and layer them on a background layer. I shared 2 versions on my live. One used the Modern Christmas Specialty Designer Series Paper as the background layer, and the other version used Basic Black Cardstock. Both turned out great! The DSP has gold stars on it and they pop through providing an extra subtle detail. They also coordinate perfectly with the Gold Shaker Stars used as an embellishment.
Next, a strip of Designer Series Paper was added to the inside, carrying the design throughout the project.
Finally, I added a few of those amazing Gold Shaker Stars – to the front and inside of the card!
To Create This Project
Card Base – Thick Basic White cut 4-1/4″ x 11″ and scored at 5-1/2″
Front Layer – Basic Black or Designer Series Paper cut 4″ x 4-1/2″
Stamped Layer – Basic White 3-3/4″ x 4-1/4″
Inside Layer – Designer Series Paper 4″ x 1/2″
Stamp main image in Versamark ink. Add embossing powder and heat with a Heat Tool. Color with ink and a Water Painter. Cut into 6 sections and adhere to Basic Black or Designer Series Paper layer. Wrap twine around layer and tie in a bow. Adhere to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Embellish with gold stars. Stamp inside sentiment in Memento ink. Add strip of designer series paper and gold stars if desired.
