Hello, and welcome back for today’s cute project, which is made with the More Than Autumn Bundle for day 10 of 12 days of Christmas. I hope you have been hopping along with my friend Brenda Nelson and I as we continue to share 12 days of holiday inspiration with you. Brenda blogs at Stamps and Stretchy Pants. Be sure to hop on over to see what she’s been up to.
If you have missed any of our 12 Days of Christmas, you can go back to the beginning at Day 1.
The More Than Autumn bundle has so many possibilities for all year crafting. With multiple words provided as both stamps and dies, the custom sentiment possibilities are endless! And we haven’t even talked about the little food images. It’s so stinkin’ cute! I definitely have had so much fun creating with it!
Details Details
I love the script sentiments in this bundle. And there are several options for adding them to projects. For today’s project, I wanted the words to stand out a bit, so I used Foam Adhesive Sheet. These are so easy to use. Simply adhere a piece of foam sheet on the back of cardstock, then die-cut as usual. Now your sentiment pops up on your project!
The whipping cream was created by applying Pearl Enamel Effects over Basic White Cardstock. Once dry, I fussy cut a whipped cream shape.
To Create this Card
Real Red Cardstock – 4 1/4″ x 11″ scored at 5 1/2″ for card base
Designer Series Paper – 3 3/4″ x 5″ front layer, 2 1/2″ x 3 die cut mug and 2 1/2″ x 2 1/2″ for handle
Basic White Cardstock – 3 5/8″ x 4 7/8″ for front layer, 2 1/2″ x 1 3/4″ for whipped cream, 2″ x 1/2″ for sentiment, 1″ x 1″ for candy cane
Early Espresso Cardstock – 2 1/4″ x 1 3/4″ for sentiment (used with Foam Adhesive Sheet)
Stamp sprinkles on Basic White Cardstock in Real Red ink along bottom of front layer. Adhere to designer series paper layer, then to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Punch designer series paper first with a 2″ Circle Punch, then with a 2 3/8″ Circle Punch, centering hole to create a ring. Adhere handle to mug piece, then to card front. Apply white Pearl Enamel Effects to Basic White cardstock. Allow to dry then fussy cut a whipped cream shape. Adhere to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Stamp candy cane in Real Red ink. Color stripes with Real Red Stampin’ Blends Marker. Die cut and adhere in place. Adhere Early Espresso Cardstock to a piece of Foam Adhesive Sheet. Die cut words and adhere to mug. Tie a twine bow and adhere to candy cane. Embellish with peppermints.

I love this bundle! I am not sure if it’s the images or the sentiments, but to me, this is as classic as it gets. And the images look amazing just stamped or stamped and colored. All paired with this font, which is one of the best! I could not let this one go.
Since I promised easy, I’m going with one of my go-to card layouts. When I want to make a card quickly, I use a 3″ x 4″ centered layer. Simply done. You can jazz it up with embellishments or additional layers (like the Festive Glimmer Paper here), but if you are ever stuck, or need to make a card quickly, this layout is a keeper!
To Make this Project
Card Base – Real Red 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″
Take a Bow Designer Series Paper – 4″ x 5 1/4″ and 3″ x 4″ (coordinating patterns)
Festive Glimmer Paper – 3 1/8″ x 4 1/8″
Basic White – 4″ x 5 1/4″ for inside layer, and a piece for the label and stamped image
Adhere larger piece of designer series paper to card front. Layer smaller piece of designer series paper with glimmer paper and adhere to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Die cut label using the Something Fancy Die Set. Stamp sentiment in Garden Green ink. Adhere ribbon to back of label and adhere to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Stamp candle image in Garden Green ink. Color with Stampin’ Blends Markers and Wink of Stella, than adhere to label with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Embellish with peppermints. Adhere inside layer and stamp inside sentiment in Garden Green ink.
