Welcome to day 2 of 12 Days of Christmas with Brenda and Melanie! Thanks for stopping by today. I am sharing an adorable gingerbread girl card created with the Gingerbread Man Bundle. She’s so sweet!

My crafty friend Brenda Zorn, from Stamps & Stretchy Pants, and I are having fun sharing holiday inspiration through our 12 Days of Christmas. Our projects are using 2 bundles, Homemade Treats and Gingerbread Man. They are both so stinkin’ cute! I hope you try some of our projects.

#165785 Gingerbread Man Bundle
Sweet Girl
For today’s project, I kept the colors soft and non-traditional to create this adorable little girl. Isn’t she sweet? I used the Modern Christmas Designer Series Paper to create her dress, then added rickrack accents colored with Wink of Stella. In real life, it’s shimmery and so cute!
The card base is made using Petal Pink cardstock and a matching layer embossed with the Pressed Flowers Embossing Folder.

I finished it off with a few die cut candy accents, Neutral Matte Dots for eyes and Iridescent Pearls for the buttons on her dress.
Creative Tip: to get two full hands on the gingerbread man, use the partial die cutting technique and exclude the left hand, then re-align the die cut in the die and cut the left hand.
To Create This Project
- Card Base – Petal Pink Cardstock cut 4-1/4″ x 11″, scored at 5-1/2″
- Front Layer – Petal Pink Cardstock cut 4″ x 5-1/4″, embossed with the Pressed Flowers Embossing Folder
- Gingerbread Girl – 4-1/4″ x 5″, stamped, heat embossed and die cut
- Dress – Modern Christmas Designer Series Paper cut 4-1/4″ x 2-1/2″
- Scraps of the following for die cutting – Fresh Freesia, Balmy Blue, Soft Sea Foam and Basic White Cardstock
Adhere embossed layer to card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Adhere gingerbread girl to card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Die cut designer series paper with gingerbread die, lining up paper in die accordingly to cover the body. Trim arms, and neck as needed. Color rickrack pieces with Wink of Stella and adhere to sleeves and across bottom of dress. Adhere dress to gingerbread girl with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Die cut bow. Color with Wink of Stella. Assemble, then adhere to gingerbread girl with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Assemble candy pieces and adhere to card front. Stamp sentiment from the Homemade Treats stamp set in Memento Black ink. Fussy cut and adhere to card front. Add a black twine bow to candy, black dots to eyes and pearls to dress.
For inside, adhere a 4″ x 1″ piece of designer series paper across bottom. Add candy pieces. Stamp sentiment in Memento Black ink.
