Welcome to day 6 of the 12 Days of Christmas with Brenda and Melanie! Can you believe we are now half way through this fun creative share? Today I’m sharing a very simple card made with the Gingerbread Man Bundle.
My crafty friend Brenda Zorn, from Stamps & Stretchy Pants, and I have now shared 6 adorable projects with you through our 12 Days of Christmas. And all of our projects are using 2 bundles, Homemade Treats and Gingerbread Man. They are both so cute! And by sharing so many projects using them, you will have tons of ideas for using your bundles! Have you ordered them yet?
#169206 Gingerbread Man Bundle
Monochromatic Fun
Creating projects in a monochromatic color way is fun! It keeps creating simple, and this project comes together fast. I used Pecan Pie throughout all the elements on this project, then added some black accents and Real Red & White Peppermints embellishments for a little pop of detail.
Creating Interest with a Background
To add some texture to this project, I created a layered background using the gingerbread die-cut elements layered on a piece of Pecan Pie cardstock. Two gingerbread men were enough to cover it. I first adhered them both in place, trimmed the overhang, and kept adding the pieces until the background was filled.
To help the gingerbread focal point pop, I inked the edges with Pecan Pie ink using a Blending Brush.
To Create This Project
Card base of Pecan Pie Cardstock cut 4-1/4″ x 11″ and scored at 5-1/2″
Die cut (3) gingerbread men from Pecan Pie Cardstock
Cut a 3-5/8″ x 4-7/8″ and a 3-3/4″ x 5″ Pecan Pie layer
Inside layer Basic White 3-3/4″ x 5″
Basic White for sentiment cut 4″ x 5/8″, trim banner ends
Adhere (2) of the gingerbread men to the smallest Pecan Pie layer. Trim overhand and adhere pieces to same layer. Do this until layer is filled. Adhere layer to larger Pecan Pie layer, than adhere to card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Ink edges of remaining gingerbread man with Pecan Pie ink and a blending brush. Adhere black dots for eyes and peppermints for buttons. Stamp mouth in Pecan Pie ink. Adhere gingerbread man to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Stamp sentiments on Basic White strip and inside layer in Memento Black ink. Adhere a black twine bow to back of sentiment, then adhere sentiment to card front. Adhere large Basic White layer inside card.

During the holiday season, I love creating cut little treats to share. And who doesn’t love hot cocoa! Adding in a couple mini candy canes makes this one even better.
The base for this is created using the box die from the Jolly Delivery Dies. Tie a pretty ribbon bow around it and it’s done!
Then, I added a cute belly band to a packet of cocoa mix. This adorable check pattern is from the Christmas Tags & More Designer Series Paper pack. I layered circles and a label to dress it up. The Stylish Shapes Dies and Traditional Labels Dies are perfect for this! I finished it off with a couple mini candy canes from the Homemade Treats Bundle and a few Delightful Decorative Dots embellishments.
To Create This Project
Cut a box from Real Red Cardstock using the Jolly Delivery Dies
Create a belly band from Christmas Tags & More Designer Series Paper, cut 6″ x 2″
Die cut the 3rd largest circle from Garden Green Cardstock using the Stylish Shapes Dies
Punch a 1-7/8″ circle from Vellum
Die cut a label from Basic White Cardstock using the Traditional Labels Dies
Stamp and die cut (2) mini candy canes
Assemble box, leaving the top open. Tie a ribbon bow around the box. Stamp sentiment on label in Memento Black ink. Lightly blend with a bit of Real Red ink. Wrap belly band around a packet of cocoa with ends on the front. Layer vellum and Garden Green circles and adhere to belly band covering the gap on the belly band. Add sentiment label to circle. Slide packet into holder. Stamp mini candy canes from the Homemade Treats Stamp Set in Real Red ink, die cut with coordinating dies, and add label. Embellish with dots.

Thanks for hopping with us for the November Color Fusers Blog Hop! We have a great holiday color challenge to share today, and I am using the Christmas Greenery and Traditional Labels Bundles for today’s project.
For this project, I chose to case the catalog and change up the colors. This is a great way to create when you’re short on time or creativity. I love so many of the catalog projects, and they are even more beautiful in person! I hope you give this technique a try sometime!
Create Custom Accents
There are so many beautiful details on this project. I especially love the glimmer paper holly leaf accents. I created them in a custom color by coloring a light color glimmer paper to be Pretty Peacock accents. Such a fun way to use your supplies! I just added ink and set them aside to dry. This does take awhile, so plan some extra time for these details.
The Christmas Greenery Bundle includes beautiful floral images and foliage accents. Depending on the colors you choose, this bundle can be used year round for so many different projects!
To Create This Project
Thick Basic White Card Base: 4-1/4″ x 11″, scored at 5-1/2″
Regals Distressed Designer Series Paper: 4-1/4″ x 1-1/2″ in Pretty Peacock, 1″ x 1″ in white
Basic White Cardstock: 3-1/2″ x 2-1/4″ for sentiment
Blackberry Bliss Cardstock for bow accent – die cut and assemble
Stamp large floral image twice in Crumb Cake ink on card base, then adhere Pretty Peacock Designer Series Paper to center. Die cut a Gold Foil pine bough and a large Pretty Peacock cardstock foliage piece. Stamp foliage with large floral image in Pretty Peacock ink. Using the direct to paper technique, color Cloud Cover Glimmer Paper with Pretty Peacock ink and the white designer series paper with Blackberry Bliss ink. Set aside to dry. Once dry, die cut 3 glimmer holly leaves and 3 designer series paper holly berries. Stamp sentiment from Traditional Labels Stamp Set in Pretty Peacock and Blackberry Bliss ink. Die cut with Traditional labels Die. Arrange all the foliage pieces on card front and adhere in place. Adhere label in center. Add bow and berries.
