It’s Mini Catalog Shares & Samplers time! The January-April 2023 Mini Catalog is right around the corner! That means it’s time to order your shares and samplers, so you can create with all the new products. Now, I know choosing favorites can be hard, so I am here to make it easy!
What are Mini Catalog Shares & Samplers
Product Share – a product share is a partial pack of all the items listed, grouped and packaged for easy use. This is perfect for trying lots of different products, to see which ones you love, or to have a little of everything offered! It is a great way to get lots of variety at a fraction of the cost when compared to buying several things.
Paper Sampler – paper samplers are actually creative tools used to either display a paper collection, or to use while you are crafting. These are invaluable to coordinate products while you are working. Each collection set features all the designer paper patterns, the catalog name and image, item number, detailed information as needed, and coordinating colors. The best part….once you no longer want the sampler, you can pull it apart and use the paper to create!
Paper Samplers
If you join me for class in my classroom, you have seen these on display. These samplers are invaluable for actually seeing the papers in person and pulling projects together, as well as matching colors and embellishments. So much so, I now offer these as part of my product shares when a new catalog launches.
Paper collections that are 12″ x 12″ are in a 4″ x 6″ sampler, and 6″ x 6″ paper collections are left full size.

Today is the last day of 12 Days of Christmas, and I am sharing some adorable gift journals. My friend stampwithbrenda and I have been having so much fun sharing a ton of creative ideas with you! I hope you have been checking out her amazing projects over at Stamps and Stretchy Pants.
Let’s face it, we always need cute last minute gifts, and these are perfect! They come together in a snap, and you can use any designer series paper to customize them for your recipient. The monogram accent is a personal touch, and if you don’t want a monogram, you could add a stamped or die cut element instead.
The base for the journal is a standard composition notebook. I stock up on these at back-to-school time, when you can readily find them in the school supply section just about anywhere. And they are inexpensive.
You can get them in any color, and cover them with designer series paper. It’s a great way to showcase beautiful papers in any print or color. For each journal, you need two coordinating sheets, a coordinating color of cardstock, and whatever accent pieces or monogram you would like.
I like adding a monogram for a personal touch. This journal features the new Alphabet A La Mode dies in the new catalog launching in January – I can’t wait to use these more!
To Create Your Gift Journal:
for the front, cut a 7″ x 9 3/4″ piece of designer series paper
for the back, cut an 8 1/2″ x 9 3/4″ piece of coordinating designer series paper
coordinating cardstock to die cut trim piece
monogram of your choice
Adhere designer series paper to the front of the journal. Adhere designer series paper to the back, wrapping around binding, and overlapping with front piece. Trim corners, or along edge as needed. Die cut an edge scalloped strip using the Penned Flowers Dies and adhere along pattern edge on front near binding. Punch a circle from designer series paper pattern used on the back, with the Decorative Circle Punch. Layer with a Wonderful Snowflake die cut. Add a letter for monogram die cut from coordinating cardstock. To finish it off, tie a ribbon bow around the cover.
Look At This!
How cool is this! The ribbon tied around the cover doubles as a page marker! Such a cool feature! To use it, slide your pages under the ribbon on the inside front cover.
Thank You!

It’s 12 Days of Christmas time again and today I am sharing this adorable pillbox treat container.
I love treat containers. It is such an easy way to gift something fun to others, and creating them does not need to be difficult or time consuming. This little pillbox treat container made with the Pretty PIllowbox Die set is a perfect example of how cute can be fast. One die cut creates the die cut piece, which is folded, to create this treat container. You can then decorate the container however you choose.
Today’s project features the adorable Caroling Mice stamp set. This set is available as an exclusive host item, and can be chosen free with an order, or workshop total, over $150. It is an exclusive item reserved for our hosts. The host stamps are always adorable!
How to make this Pillowbox Treat
5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ piece of Pacific Point cardstock
Punch one Essentials Tag from Basic White cardstock
Cut a strip of designer series paper 2″ x 5″
Scrap of Balmy Blue cardstock 1 1/2″ x 1/2″
Die cut one pillbox using the Pretty Pillowbox die. Stamp small image onto flap using the Caroling Mice stamp set and Pacific Point ink. Fold box and adhere ends. Wrap a piece of coordinating designer series paper around box and adhere ends in place, being careful not to adhere paper to box (belly band needs to slide off to open the box). Tie a ribbon and silver cord bow around box. Punch a tag from Basic White cardstock using the Essential Tag Punch. Stamp a tree from same stamp set in Pacific point ink. Add snow image in Balmy Blue ink. Add puff paint along bottom and heat. Adhere to box. Stamp sentiment from the Yeti to Party stamp set in Pacific Point ink onto scrap of Balmy Blue cardstock. Trim and and adhere to box. Embellish with Iridescent Pearls.
Thank You
