It’s 12 Days of Christmas time again and today I am sharing this adorable pillbox treat container.

12 Days of Christmas 2022 with Brenda Nelson of Stamps and Stretchy Pans and Melanie Hockin of Mel's Inky Fingers.

I love treat containers. It is such an easy way to gift something fun to others, and creating them does not need to be difficult or time consuming. This little pillbox treat container made with the Pretty PIllowbox Die set is a perfect example of how cute can be fast. One die cut creates the die cut piece, which is folded, to create this treat container. You can then decorate the container however you choose.

Today’s project features the adorable Caroling Mice stamp set. This set is available as an exclusive host item, and can be chosen free with an order, or workshop total, over $150. It is an exclusive item reserved for our hosts. The host stamps are always adorable!

How to make this Pillowbox Treat

  • 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ piece of Pacific Point cardstock
  • Punch one Essentials Tag from Basic White cardstock
  • Cut a strip of designer series paper 2″ x 5″
  • Scrap of Balmy Blue cardstock 1 1/2″ x 1/2″

Die cut one pillbox using the Pretty Pillowbox die. Stamp small image onto flap using the Caroling Mice stamp set and Pacific Point ink. Fold box and adhere ends. Wrap a piece of coordinating designer series paper around box and adhere ends in place, being careful not to adhere paper to box (belly band needs to slide off to open the box). Tie a ribbon and silver cord bow around box. Punch a tag from Basic White cardstock using the Essential Tag Punch. Stamp a tree from same stamp set in Pacific point ink. Add snow image in Balmy Blue ink. Add puff paint along bottom and heat. Adhere to box. Stamp sentiment from the Yeti to Party stamp set in Pacific Point ink onto scrap of Balmy Blue cardstock. Trim and and adhere to box. Embellish with Iridescent Pearls.
