12 Days of Christmas 2022 with Brenda Nelson of Stamps and Stretchy Pans and Melanie Hockin of Mel's Inky Fingers.

My friend Tami Hewlett made these little candy cane hearts, and as soon as I saw them, I knew I had to make some. They are so adorable! And so easy to make as well.

The tag die in the Candy Canes die set is designed to slide onto a candy cane! It is genius, and makes the most adorable treat! What a perfect treat for gifting. You could even hang these on your Christmas tree, and hand out to family and friends throughout the season. So cute!!

Making a Sweet Candy Cane Treat

The die in the Candy Canes die set is the basis for this quick and simple tag. This tag is cut from Garden Green cardstock. I added a strip of Red Glimmer Paper, and a label die cut from Shimmery White cardstock using the Stylish Shapes Dies. Stamp sentiment in Real Red ink. To make holly leaves, watercolor Shimmery White Cardstock using Garden Green ink. After it is dry, die cut leaves using the holly leaf die in the Christmas Banners Die Set. To finish it off, add Seasonal Sequins to create little berries. Once the tag is created, slide it onto a candy cane, then tie 2 candy canes together with Linen Thread.
