Thank you for joining us on the Color Fusers March 2022 Blog Hop where I am sharing this beautiful Ranunculus Romance project featuring In Color Shimmer Vellum and the Painted Texture Embossing Folder. This color challenge includes my two favorite greens – Soft Succulent and Evening Evergreen!
When I saw this bundle in the January – June 2022 mini catalog, I knew I would love it, and it is even better than I thought! The eclectic images and gorgeous distinktive style art is just beautiful! And the coordinating Ranunculus Dies are awesome! This Color Fusers March 2022 Blog Hop was a great chance to finally use Ranunculus Romance.
I love the In Color Shimmer Vellum. The shimmer really pops when used with a detailed die, such as the leaves from this die set. And the Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder works great with the style of this bundle.
Die Cut Details
Today’s project pairs some stamped images with several of the die cuts to create a focal point. The die cut leaves, and the large floral die-cut, all layered with some Vellum cardstock and ribbon work so well together.
The shimmer is a great compliment to the Wink of Stella splatter in the background.
To create this card:
- cut a 4 1/4″ x 11″ Rich Razzleberry card base, score at 5 1/2″ and fold
- emboss a 3 3/4″ x 5″ layer of Rich Razzleberry cardstock
- die cut 2 shimmer vellum leaves, a large vellum piece, and a cardstock ranunculus die cut
- stamp and die cut 2 flower pieces
Randomly stamp script stamp on card base in Rich Razzleberry ink. Emboss cardstock layer and adhere to card front. Splatter with Wink of Stella. Arrange vellum pieces and other die cuts together on large Vellum cardstock piece. Adhere ribbon to back, and then to card front. Trim flowers off one stamped image and layer over the other for dimension. Add sentiment. Embellish with Iridescent Rhinestones as desired.
