This months color challenge was fun to work with, and features a combination of blues and orange, which I love. Pool Party is one of my favorite Stampin’ Up! colors! And if you are a Misty Moonlight fan, you may want to grab some of all the goodness while you can, as this color will retire in a couple months – don’t miss out!
The Rainbow of Happiness bundle is one of my favorites from the January-June 2022 Mini Catalog. I have created a bunch with it! Finishing Touches
There are many elements brought in to pull this card together. I started with Pool Party Supple Shimmer Paper as a base layer on the card front. This paper is so shimmery! It was also the perfect choice for the clouds as well. Pool Party Sheer Ribbon and the Holiday Rhinestones, which include Pool Party gems, finished it all off perfectly.
To create this card:
- Cut a 4 1/4″ x 11″ Calypso Coral card base, score at 5 1/2″
- Trim Pool Party Supple Shimmer Paper to 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″
- Die cut a Calypso Coral edge piece from dies
- Cut (2) pieces of Pool Party Sunshine & Rainbows dsp 3 3/4″ x 5″
- Create a Basic White and Calypso Coral scalloped rectangle, stamp on the white rectangle in Calypso Coral, Pool Party, and Misty Moonlight ink
- Add shimmer paper clouds
- Embellish with Pool Party Sheer Ribbon and Pool Party Rhinestones
