Everyone needs a go-to stamp set, and Witty-cisms is a perfect choice! With great images and versatile all occasion sentiments, it's a good set to reach for and create with when you want a quick and cute project.
Today's project combines simple layering and a pop of color.
Details were added with the scalloped edge, made with the Seasonal Layers dies, and some dimension with Shimmery Crystal Effects on the heart.
To create this project:
- cut a 4 1/4" x 11" Pool Party card base, and score at 5 1/2"
- cut a 1 7/8" x 2 3/8" piece of Pool Party cardstock
- Cut a 3 3/4" x 5" piece of designer paper
- cut a 3 7/8" x 5 1/8" and 1 3/4" x 2 1/4" piece of Smoky Slate cardstock
- cut a 1 5/8" x 2 1/8" piece of Whisper White cardstock
Use a scallop die to cut the bottom of the designer paper. Adhere paper to the smoky slate layer, than die cut bottom of the Smoky Slate Layer. Adhere together. Wrap with ribbon, and tie with twine. Adhere to card base. Stamp image in Smoky Slate ink on Whisper White cardstock. Adhere to Smoky Slate layer, then Pool Party layer. Adhere to card front with dimensional. Color heart, than add crystal effects. Let dry. Stamp inside sentiment in Smoky Slate ink.

So cute!!!
Super cute Melanie!
Melanie what a great idea about making the scallop on the bottom by first using it on the dsp, then aligning after on the smokey slate cardstock. Brilliant! TFS
Very cute…looks like I’m going to have to order Witty-cisms!
