The new Storage by Stampin' Up! line came out a few months ago. Since its debut, I have taken time to decide how I wanted to incorporate it into my space. With a full work space revamp in my future, I wanted something that would work now and later.
It is awesome!!
With only 5 sturdy white plastic modular pieces to work with, it's like playing craft Legos. By mixing, matching, stacking, and pairing, these modular pieces make -the- most amazing custom storage space (you can see my space before later in this post)! And the best part, when you want to 'reorganize' (and face it……we all do it……over and over again), you can take the pieces apart and create a whole new look!

My favorite parts:

When I stand at my crafting table, it is just refreshing, and inspires creativity! Everything is within easy reach, with few exceptions, and makes it easy to put right away, keeping your space neat and tidy.
the rainbow of color.
With all my ink pads organized in a color rainbow, it is not only beautiful, but it makes comparing colors easy, and grabbing the right one a snap!
it's expandable and affordable.
All the pieces stack and lock together making it easy to add pieces as needed. Whether you have 2 ink pads or 20, it can grow with you, and you only need to purchase the pieces you need.
Ribbon
I use it on almost every project. I previously stored my ribbon and trims in a cart on the other side of my room. Now, I keep the matching ribbon in the same stack with the coordinating ink pad and marker. I will be adding additional pieces, and bring twine and metallic threads into the mix as well! I love having it at my fingertips! It makes my work space much more efficient.

I will tackle my die cutting area next, adding pieces to store embossing folders, dies, and 6" x 6" designer paper stacks. I will share it with you once finished!

It's time for another Color Fusers blog hop! Thank you for joining us today with a fun color challenge!
This month's challenge used Soft Sea Foam paired with two new In Colors, Seaside Spray and Purple Posy. I am loving Purple Posy! You may be seeing a lot of it over the coming months! I don't think we have ever had a set of new In Colors which pair so perfectly with our regular colors.
For this project, I pulled out the Daisy Lane stamp set, which comes bundled with a new medium Daisy punch. It's a fun set, and the daisy punch is a great size. Check out the background on this project. Isn't it gorgeous? It was made using the new Stitched Lace die. It is one large die, and comes with an edge die to cut the decorative edge if you choose. It's so pretty.
And did you notice the beautiful Designer Element in the center of the flower? These are also gorgeous! They come in a pack which includes all the different metallic colors. Yet another hidden gem in the new Annual catalog. You will want these!
To create this card:
cut a piece of Seaside Spray cardstock 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" and score at 4 1/4"
cut a piece of Silver Foil 3 3/4 x 5 1/4"
cut a piece of Whisper White cardstock 3 5/8" x 5 1/4"
cut a strip of Whisper White cardstock 1" x 2 3/4"
Die cut the white lace background layer (with both the lace die, than the edge die), than cut the detailed edge of the silver foil layer. Adhere the lace and silver foil layer together, than trim to size as needed. Layer 3 punched daisies together to get a fuller flower. Add leaves and sprigs to the flower before adhering to the card front. Add a sentiment of choice.
Stampin' Tips:
It's easy to create texture on the daisy simply by punching it from designer paper
Add dimension to card elements by curling parts with a bone folder (I did this on the flower petals and leaves)
