Aug 5, 2019 | Cards - All Occasions, Color Fusers, Designer Series Paper, Embossing Folders, Gallery |

Welcome! Thanks for joining us today on the Color Fusers Blog Hop. You are probably joining me today from Jo Anne Hewins, where she had another beautiful project! Today's color combination provides contrast, with the rich color of Blackberry Bliss and the softer color of Coastal Cabana, and a little in between.

I have not played with the Follow Your Art Suite nearly enough since it debuted in the Annual catalog this year, so I thought this would be a fun color scheme to use it with. It is a really fun product grouping, and is all about us crafters. I especially love the coordinating Arts & Crafts die set. There are fun little accessories and great coordinating pieces. It also includes an adorable embellishment kit, which includes perfect little heart charms.

The Follow Your Art Designer Paper follows the theme perfectly and couldn't be cuter! There is even paper with hot glue guns on it! Seriously! Check it out!

The stamp to create a fancy ribbon bobbin from the It Starts With Art stamp set worked perfectly to create this filigree frame for my sentiment. Isn't it beautiful?

I used the coordinating Arts & Crafts Dies to cut out watercolor pencils and some cute accessory pieces, like the paper clip ( yes — a paper paper clip! So cute!) and the pretty stitched lace strip, which I love.

To create this card:
- Cut a 4 1/4" x 11" piece of Blackberry Bliss cardstock and score at 5 1/2"
- Cut a 3 3/4" x 5" piece of Pretty Peacock cardstock
- Cut a 3 5/8" x 4 7/8" piece of Bermuda Bay cardstock
- Cut a 3 1/2" x 4 3/4" piece of Follow Your Art designer paper
- Cut a 3/4" x 3 1/2" strip of Pretty Peacock, cut banner ends on both sides
I embossed the Bermuda Bay layer with the Eyelet Lace embossing folder before layering it between the Pretty Peacock cardstock and Follow Your Art designer paper. Stamp the colored pencils in Coastal Cabana, Bermuda Bay, Pretty Peacock, and Blackberry Bliss before die cutting. I tied the pencils together with Blackberry Bliss twine from the Tags & More Accessory Kit (I separated the Blackberry Bliss from the white portion) and included an adorable charm from the Follow Your Art embellishment kit. Die cut a Blackberry Bliss lace strip and a Coastal Cabana paper clip to layer with the sentiment. To create the sentiment piece, stamp one side of the bobbin stamp in Bermuda Bay ink repeatedly around the circle to create a filigree frame, than stamp the sentiment in Blackberry Bliss ink.
Isn't the Follow Your Art bundle adorable? And it could not be easier to get the whole product suite!

Do you have a favorite item? One that automatically makes your list each year before even deciding how you will use it? I have a couple products like that, and this is one of them!
I love the 6" x 6" designer series paper stacks that come in all the colors of our color line. And this year, I was so excited to see a gingham print in the line-up! That's right – gingham in every.single.color!
Why do I like these so much? They are so versatile! And since they come in a pack for each color family, there are tons of colors! And each color comes in 4 prints.

So, 50 colors, 4 prints each, means 200 choices! Ahhh, yes! The endless possibilities! And why they always work as a go-to choice when you need a little something on a project! I love using them for layers, punching, die cut pieces, for big and little strips, and for stamping on!

Since these are one of my favorite things, I thought I would share one with you! Would you like one of these FREE? I am giving one as my thank you with orders of at least $65 in Stampin' Up! products from July 15th – 29th, 2019!

Jul 12, 2019 | Annual Catalog, Cards - All Occasions, Designer Series Paper, Gallery, Stamping Tips & Techniques |

There are so many gorgeous projects in the Annual catalog, and this one is no exception! I CASED this with a couple changes to make it my own, but I love the depth to this card!
What does it mean to CASE?
Copy And Share Everything.
The texture added by the burlap designer paper, and the crumpled Garden Green cardstock is perfect!

This strip was stamped with the fern from the Daisy Lane stamp set in Garden Green ink before crumpling. (I have been having a lot of fun recently with this set. I also used it last week on this card).

It also uses one of my favorite die sets, the Stitched Label dies. I know, I have a lot of favorites, but I can't help myself!

The designer series paper is from the Pressed Petals collection. The fronts are beautiful florals, and the backs are perfect layering prints, including this burlap.

To create this card:
- cut a piece of Petal Pink cardstock 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", score at 4 1/4"
- cut a piece of Petal Pink cardstock 4" x 5 1/4" for the front layer
- cut a strip of vellum cardstock 1" x 4 1/2"
- cut a strip of Garden Green cardstock 3/4" x 5", trim both ends
Die cut the large label from designer paper, and a small circle from Whisper White cardstock. Stamp the small daisy on the Petal Pink front layer in Petal Pink ink, the fern on the Garden Green strip in Garden Green ink, and the sentiment on the white circle label in Crumb Cake ink. Layer the large label and strips on the front layer, tie with linen thread, and adhere to the card base. Add the circle sentiment to the center.
I hope you enjoyed today's CASE. Pick a card from your catalog to CASE, and share it with me. Or get your very own Daisy Lane set and CASE my card! I would love to see what you make!
