Welcome to the November 2022 Color Fusers Blog Hop where I am sharing an adorable wintery scene card made with the Trees for Sale stamp set and Wink of Stella snow.
This was a good color combination to create a traditional wintery Christmas scene, and this stamp set provides several options to ramp up the cuteness factor. I just love this little dog!
The diagonal stripe Designer Series Paper comes from the Santa Express collection, and works perfectly with the trees, which were stamped in Shaded Spruce ink.
To create the color variation, I stamped part of the tree in full strength ink, and the other part, I stamped off once on scrap paper before stamping. This is a quick & simple way to create color variation, and is sometimes called second-generation stamping.
Attention to Details
The little details can really make a difference. For this project, check out the Wink of Stella splatters which are used to create a snow effect. These splatters are easy to create. Simply Squeeze a Wink of Stella to get paint in the bristles, then flick the bristles to create the splatters on your project.
To create this card:
Use an 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ Poppy Parade card base, scored at 4 1/4″
Cut the designer series paper layer 5 3/8″ x 4 1/8″
Die cut the second from largest Scalloped Contours rectangle from Basic White cardstock
Stamp some snowflakes in Poppy Parade ink onto the designer series paper layer, then adhere to card base. Stamp trees on scalloped rectangle in Shaded Spruce ink, stamping off once for the solid stamps. Add the Poppy Parade bow to one tree. Stamp the string of lights in Memento Black ink and color with a Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Blends marker. Stamp sentiment in Poppy Parade ink, fussy cut, and add to card front. Embellish as desired with rhinestones. Splatter with Wink of Stella.

Thank you for joining us for the Color Fusers October 2022 color challenge blog hop where I am sharing a card made with the Hello Harvest Bundle and watercolor technique.
This month’s color challenge is a great fall combination, and worked perfectly to color the gorgeous bouquet stamp from the Hello Harvest stamp set. I love the light orange pumpkin to help set it off against the Bermuda Bay plaid paper.
Hello Harvest Bundle
I kept the embellishing to a minimum to allow the flowers to shine! A bow made with the Simply Elegant Trim, and a thin strip of Gold Foil was all it needed.
The images were really easy to color in using a simple watercolor technique. To do this, I turned my ink pad upside down and squeezed it, so ink got on the lid. Then, I opened the pad, and pulled ink off the lid with a Water Painter. You can add as much or as little shading as you would like. It’s fast and looks great! I hope you try it.
To create this card:
use a 4 1/4″ x 11″ Bermuda Bay card base scored at 5 1/2″
cut a 3 3/4″ x 5″ Bermuda Bay layer
Bermuda Bay Designer Series Paper cut to 3 5/8″ x 4 7/8″
trim down a 1/4″ scrap of Gold Foil to 2 1/4″
Stamp the pumpkin and floral spray in Memento Black ink on Basic White cardstock. Color as desired, then die cut with the Rustic Pumpkin dies. Layer the designer paper onto the Bermuda Bay layer, then add to card front with dimensionals. Add pumpkin and floral spray with dimensionals. Stamp sentiment on a piece of Basic White cardstock in Early Espresso ink. Layer foil strip behind sentiment, and add to card front with dimensionals. Add a gold trim bow. Stamp inside card as desired with Early Expresso ink.

Welcome to the Color Fusers September 2022 color challenge blog hop where I am using the Hello Harvest Bundle to create a gorgeous fall all occasions card.
The color challenge this month includes one of my favorite Stampin’ Up! colors, Blackberry Bliss!
Color Fusers Colors
What a great color challenge to dive into a fall project. I love the contrast between the lighter colors and Blackberry Bliss.
I couldn’t wait to use this awesome scalloped edge die from the new Apple Blossoms die set. This set is part of the Perfect Partners promotion, available this month only, and pairs with the Apple Harvest stamp set from the mini catalog. This month only, you can get the Apple Harvest stamp and die bundle at a discount, but only while supplies last on the dies.
Look at the incredible detail piece on the scallop! It cuts as a separate piece from the solid scallop, and both cut at the same time. I tucked the scalloped pieces under the embossed layer, which was created with the Leaf Fall 3D Embossing Folder from the mini catalog.
The stamped images and sentiment are from the beautiful Hello Harvest bundle. This bundle has amazing dies. It was one of my favorites from the new catalog. It’s also a great set to use all year long, in different color combinations, to match the season.
It all pairs perfectly to create a beautiful card.
To create this card:
use an 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ Blackberry Bliss card base scored at 4 1/4″
cut and emboss a 3 3/8″ x 5″ Blackberry Bliss layer
die cut a Blackberry Bliss and Fresh Fresia scallop
Stamp leaves in Fresh Fresia ink on Shimmery White cardstock and die cut. Stamp sentiment in Pale Papaya ink on Shimmery White cardstock and punch ends. Adhere embossed layer to card base with dimensionals. Adhere scallops under bottom edge of layer. Arrange leaves on card front. Add sentiment. Embellish with ribbon bow and gems.
I hope you enjoyed this project shared for the Color Fusers September 2022 color challenge using the Hello Harvest Bundle to create a gorgeous fall all occasions card.
