Today I will show you how to turn the Galentine Valentine sentiment in the Hearts & Kisses bundle into a Valentine’s Day card.

Valentine’s Day Card

Today I am sharing a Valentine card using the adorable Hearts & Kisses Bundle. I love the images in this set, and the shading, which looks like they are colored with the lipstick included in the set.

Sending a Valentine to our besties is always fun, and the galentines sentiment is perfect for that! But just in case you need a Valentine sentiment, I created today’s project using the letter V from the Playful Alphabet die set, to change the sentiment. It can be so easy to change a sentiment to be exactly what you need! I simply wiped the ink off the G in galentine after inking the stamp, stamped the image, then added the die cut letter in it’s place.

I am showing you two different color combinations today, both using black as an accent color. The main project uses Real Red Cardstock and ink, along with the True Love Designer Series Paper. The second color combination in the Galentine Valentine card uses Rococo Rose with the True Love Designer Series Paper.

And this paper collection — it is amazing, and all in black and white! Not only are the patterns stunning, but it could not be more perfect to use our new Blending Brushes to color it any custom color you would like.

The color wash in the background was applied with the Blending Brushes as well. What I love most about these is how smooth the color applies, and how easy it is to blend it nicely, to get just the right amount of color. So easy!
