Happy Easter!

It's hard to believe that we are already celebrating this special day.  And a special day calls for a pretty card!

There is a no stamping on the front of today's card.

It was created with 3 different die sets.  By layering elements, I created a beautiful focal point.  The only stamping is the inside sentiment.

Combine die cut elements to create a meaningful card

The cross is made by combining 2 dies from the Cross of Hope die set, and the gorgeous detail piece on the bottom is from the Jubilee Beauty dies from the 2020 January-June mini catalog.  Word Wishes is a die set which covers all holidays.  It is a staple for every stamper's studio, and works perfectly on this Easter card.

Layer die cut elements to create a stunning focal point.

There is even a coordinating stamp set to Word Wishes called A Wish for Everything, which allows you to create endless custom holiday sentiments by combining stamped and die cut elements.  The great news is when you purchase them together, the bundle is discounted!

To create the cross, I placed the thin cross inside the larger cross and ran it through my die cutting machine together, creating this delicate element.

Layer dies to create new shapes.

To create this card:

  • Cut a 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" piece of Purple Posy cardstock, score at 4 1/4" and fold
  • Cut a 4" x 5 1/4" piece of Purple Posy cardstock and emboss with the Subtle embossing folder
  • Die cut a cross, the sentiment, and the detail element piece from Purple Posy cardstock
  • Die cut 3 fronds from Crumb Cake cardstock

Adhere embossed layer to card front, then add detail element to bottom of card front. Color cross with Wink of Stella glitter brush, then wrap a piece of Purple Posy linen ribbon around cross and tack in place with glue dots.  Adhere cross to card front with dimensionals.  Tuck fronds behind cross and adhere in place.  Add sentiment and a linen thread bow to cross.  Embellish with pearls as desired.

Thank you for stopping by today!

Wishing you and your family many blessings!
