This is how I feel about the new catalog!  I am loving the new products…and those new In Colors?  Just — WOW!  And although I did not use any of the new In Colors on this project, I had fun creating with a new bundle.

A Little Wild Bundle #145327

I had my eye on this cute bundle, A Little Wild.  The images are adorable!  The border die is beautiful!  And I just so happened to need a baby card for a new little someone who joined a friend's family this week.  This card was simple to make, and done in a monochromatic color scheme.  I loved how the catalog sample had the border die as a background, so I used that as my inspiration for my card.

In Crumb Cake, I made a standard top-fold card base using a 4 1/4" x 11" piece of cardstock, scored in half.  I than added a layer of Crumb Cake to the front, cut to 3 3/4" x 5".  The background was created with 7 border die cuts spaced evenly over the front layer.  The lion was stamped in Archival Black Ink, and die cut.  I divided him (stay tuned for a project using this tip soon!) before adding it to the card front.  He was watercolored, and attached to the card with dimensionals, with a bit of metallic black thread behind him.  The sentiment was stamped on a piece of Crumb Cake cardstock in Archival Black ink, trimmed on one end, and tucked behind the lion.

 Quick Tip

Use the Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets to adhere detailed die cuts to your card.  Simply add your cardstock to your adhesive sheet, run through your Big Shot to cut, peel the back off, and adhere to your card with no adhesive mess!
