It is that time of year! Some of us are still pulling out Christmas decorations as we frantically finish preparing for the season. And although my decorations are pretty much all out, I still have to hang the stockings! I better get to it, right? But first, I want to share this simple and adorable card with you.
It is made with the Hang Your Stocking Bundle, from page 15 of the Holiday catalog. I thought this was the cutest! I made my stocking by layering the gorgeous red glimmer paper (pg 175 from the annual catalog) over Emerald Envy cardstock, than layered the whole stocking over this great striped pattern of designer series paper from the Presents & Pinecones collection, also from the holiday catalog (page 18). The great news is, it is not too late to grab these supplies and get some cards made. Even better, the Presents & Pinecones designer series paper is on sale, but only while supplies last! I have added Cherry Cobbler Taffeta Ribbon, which coordinates with this designer series paper collection, as an accent (page 20). This ribbon comes as a combo pack, and is also on sale, 50% off. The sentiment is stamped on a strip of Whisper White cardstock. I also added a layer of Cherry Cobbler cardstock to the Emerald Envy card base. Isn't this fun?
The color palette for this card is the ultimate traditional Christmas combination of my current favorite red and green from the Stampin' Up! color family. Can't go wrong with this!
