As promised, I am returning today to share more High Tide with you.  This set is from the new Occasions catalog, which will debut on January 4, 2017.  It is so versatile, until you work with it, it can be hard to see the possibilities!  As soon as I saw it, I knew it had to be paired with the Serene Scenery designer series paper stack on page 174 of the Annual catalog.  Look at that pattern, could it be more perfect?

Creating this card is simple.  I started with a piece of designer series paper cut to 3 3/4" x 5".  I stamped the birds in Basic Gray, than added Wild Wasabi and Garden Green tufts of grass around their legs.  I mounted it to a layer of Sahara Sand cardstock cut to 3 7/8" x 5 1/8".  I added some Burlap Ribbon, with a simple knot, to the front, and adhered that all onto a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" Island Indigo card base using dimensionals.  The Tin of Cards stamp set on page 86 of the Annual catalog has sentiments in one of my favorite fonts, and I thought this Thank You was perfect!  I stamped it in Island Indigo on a scrap of the same designer series paper as the background, cut to 1 1/2"x2", and again used dimensionals to adhere it under the knot.  Done!

The colors are all chosen from the designer series paper, which could easily be changed.
