Halloween is such a fun time of year……creating a great costume, planning for a fun evening, and, of course, trick-or-treating!  I am not sure which is more fun, handing out the treats and seeing all the kiddos, or the trick-or-treating itself.  But yummy treats are fun!  You may be the giver, or the receiver of such goodness, but regardless, how can a candy corn treat not remind you of all the fun that comes with Halloween?  So, how about this project…..it uses some of my favorite stamps from the Holiday Catalog.

Jar of Haunts (page 17) is a fun set no matter how you look at it.  Fall plus Halloween rolled into one!  As a bonus, it coordinates perfectly with the Everyday Jars Framelits from the Annual Catalog (page 192).

This little goody is easy to make.  I created the treat jar by first stamping a jar, than the candy corn inside.  I colored the candy corn with Stampin' Write markers (these are great amazing!).  I added Mr. Spider for a spooky little touch.  Than, I die cut the jar using the Everyday Jars Framelits.  The card base is Pumpkin Pie cardstock, with a layer of Halloween Night designer series paper.  I folded a doily in half, attached to the card front, than adhered my jar with dimensionals.  The Halloween Night Baker's Twine coordinates perfectly to decorate the jar.  The Happy Halloween sentiment, from Teeny Tiny Wishes, was all that I needed to wrap this up.

Does this remind you of Halloween?  I hope so!  Now, gather your Jar of Haunts stamps and Everyday Jars framelits, and don't forget your favorite Halloween treat to snack on, while you create your own treat jar cards!

Visit again in a few days to see some Halloween home décor!
