Welcome to the final day of 12 Days of Christmas with Brenda and Melanie! We are so happy you have hopped along with us to see some adorable projects. And today I am wrapping it up with a cute tag for a gift or treat.
My crafty friend Brenda Zorn, from Stamps & Stretchy Pants, and I have been sharing holiday inspiration through our 12 Days of Christmas, and today is the last day! This is our third year sharing with you and we hope you liked our adorable projects! We created them all using 2 main bundles, Homemade Treats and Gingerbread Man. They are both so stinkin’ cute! And by sharing so many projects using them, you will have tons of ideas for using your bundles!
#166017 Homemade Treats Bundle
Super Sweet Gifts
Nothing makes a little gift or treat better than tucking it in an adorable package. And today’s project is no exception. So easy, yet so fun. It’s colorful and will be sure to add extra sweetness to any treat you share.
Inside the bag, I placed some Pepperidge Farms Mint Milano cookies — YUM!!
These tags can be as simple or detailed as you choose to make them. I cut the base with the awesome Patterned Tags Dies. I love the detailed overlays you can cut, or you can keep the tags simple. After cutting the tags, I layered the adorable elements from the Homemade Treats Bundle stamped in a variety of colors.
It’s hard to see, but I placed the oven mitt on a Stampin’ Pierce Mat and used my Take Your Pick Tool to trace the quilting. This added some texture and dimension.
To Create This Project
Die cut the tag from Thick Basic White Cardstock using the Patterned Tags Dies
Stamp and die cut an assortment of elements from Basic White cardstock
Arrange elements on tag and adhere in place using Stampin’ Dimensionals and Stampin’ Seal. To get colored handles on the rolling pin, I inked the stamp in Crumb Cake, carefully wiped off the handles, then inked just the handles on the edge of a Real Red ink pad. I colored the hearts on the gingerbread men with a Real Red Stampin’ Blends Marker.
Thank You
Thanks so much for hopping along with us for our 12 Days of Christmas! It was great having you join us. Be sure to check out Brenda’s post today as well, over at Stamps & Stretchy Pants, since we are both sharing for the final day. And I hope you leave us a comment and share which projects you liked the most!
Welcome back to day 10 of 12 Days of Christmas with Brenda and Melanie! I am having so much fun creating with the adorable Gingerbread Man bundle, and today I created a gingerbread man cookie holder!
My crafty friend Brenda Zorn, from Stamps & Stretchy Pants, and I have now shared 10 adorable projects with you through our 12 Days of Christmas using the Homemade Treats and Gingerbread Man Bundles. They are both so cute and coordinate perfectly, making them so easy to create with.
Today’s project uses just the Gingerbread Man Bundle.
#165785 Gingerbread Man Bundle
Gingerbread Man Cookie Treat
What better treat to share than gingerbread man cookies in a gingerbread man cookie holder! This is not only adorable, it’s easy to create and sure to make anyone smile.
I first created a simple box from Pecan Pie cardstock, then created two gingerbread men to add to each side. For a little color, I added a band of Christmas Tags & More Designer Series Paper and a ribbon bow to the box. White embossing created the icing on the gingerbread men, and they were embellished with black Neutral Matte Dots and Real Red & White Peppermints for cute detail.
The cookies were placed in an Iridescent Treat bag and tied with a piece of coordinating Shiny Real Red Ribbon.
Unfortunately, this little guy had a mishap, and had his food snapped! So I applied the black dots to his eyes to create expression, and added the Oh Snap sentiment. So fun!
To Create This Project
7″ x 9-1/2″ scored at 2″ and 5″ on short edge and 3-1/4″ and 6-1/4″ on long edge
8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ to die cut (2) gingerbread men (use partial die cutting technique to get rounded hands on both sides)
(2) 5″ x 1-1/2″ pieces of designer series paper each scored at 2″ on long edge
Stamp crumbs on box in Versamark ink. Clip at score lines to create flaps and fold to make a box. Adhere patterned paper and tie a ribbon bow around box. Stamp gingerbread men and details in Versamark ink and heat emboss with white powder. Adhere both to box with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Place black matte dots on eyes and peppermints to buttons. Place cookies in a treat bag, tie closed with ribbon and add to box.
Thank You
Thanks for stopping by today for Day 10 of 12 Days of Christmas! I hope you enjoyed this gingerbread man cookie holder and even create one to share!
We are almost to day 12 of our sharing! Stop on back tomorrow to see what Brenda has to share for day 11, then we will both be sharing a project on the final day!
