Welcome to another fun Color Fusers blog hop where I am featuring the Beautiful Balloons Bundle from Stampin’ Up! for the December 2023 color challenge.
This month’s color challenge is a great wintery color combination, which I thought would be great for a birthday card. Any color could easily be substituted on this card, making it a great layout to use all year long.
Orchid Oasis was used for multiple elements to pull this card together, and the other colors were used for balloon elements. It is clean and simple.
Silver accents were the perfect choice to sprinkle in. I used Rhinestone Basic jewels and some Silver 1/8″ Ribbon. This ribbon is part of the Online Exclusive offering, which can be found in my online store. It comes as a 2 pack with gold as well!
To Create this Card
Thick Basic White card base cut 4 1/4″ x 11″, scored at 5 1/2″
Front layer of Basic White 3 3/4″ x 5″
4 1/4″ 5 1/2″ Basic White for stamping
Stamp streamers across top of front layer, and sentiment along the bottom, in Orchid Oasis ink. Adhere to card front. Stamp balloons in all 3 colors on Basic White cardstock. Stamp confetti on the 2 larger balloons in Orchid Oasis ink. Die cut and adhere to card font. Die cut a tassel from Orchid Oasis cardstock and adhere to bottom of large balloon. Tie a ribbon bow and adhere to largest balloon. Add Rhinestone Jewels as desired. Stamp front sentiment on Basic White cardstock, and a sentiment inside card, in Orchid Oasis ink. Stamp sentiment a second time, and trim ‘celebration’ down small enough to adhere over the stamped sentiment with dimensionals.
Thank You

It’s day 12 of the 12 Days of Christmas! Can yo believe it? Brenda and I are sharing our last projects with you today, and my share uses the adorable Sending Cheer Bundle with a reminder – no peeking!
This card is just simple and cute! The images in the Sending Cheer Bundle are clean and simple. It allows the colors and patterns to pop through, and the the coordinating dies add detail and fun.
The A Walk in the Forest Designer Series Paper is once again a hit, with this whimsical tree pattern. This paper is one of my favorites! I have used it a lot, and featured it on several of our 12 Days of Christmas projects. You can see those projects here and here. Purchasing this paper raises money for those in need during the holiday season as the Stampin’ Up! give-back product for this catalog.
I decided to add some shine to the gifts by using Holographic Specialty Paper for the bows. This paper is so cool! PLUS – it is on sale! Stampin’ Up! has all cardstock, designer series paper, and specialty papers on sale right now!
And I didn’t leave the details out of the inside. It was finished with colored cardstock and a small strip of designer series paper.
To create this project:
cut a 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ Real Red card base, score at 5 1/2″
(2) layers of Granny Apple Green cut 5″ x 3 3/4″
Designer Series Paper layer cut 4 7/8″ x 3 5/8″, plus a scrap strip cut 4 7/8″ long for inside
Adhere designer series paper to a Granny Apple Green layer, then add to card front with dimensionals. Stamp (3) presents using Real Red and Granny Apple Green ink. Fussy cut. Cut one present in half. Die cut (3) bows from Holographic Specialty paper. Trim one down to fit small present. Arrange presents on card front and adhere in place. Die cut a white banner using second smallest Nested Essentials die. Stamp sentiment on banner in Garden Green ink and adhere to card front. Embellish with pearls. Add second Granny Apple Green layer inside card. Add a scrap strip of designer series paper. Stamp sentiment in Garden Green ink.
Thank You
