Today’s stamp sets are adorable, and I can’t wait to create even more with them! The Heartfelt Hellos sentiments are awesome! Both are free with a minimum purchase starting January 4th!
This months color challenge is perfect to use with the Watercolor Melon stamp set. I pulled in the 2022-2024 In Color Textured Specialty Paper as the card base. I love the texture it adds, and the shimmer is beautiful! It worked great to pair with the Watercolor Melon stamp set. It was easy to stamp the sentiment for more interest to the background. Using specialty papers is a great way to add variety to your projects.
New Stampin’ Up! Products
Are you wondering about that white die cut? Well, that is a new die set in the January – April 2024 Mini Catalog that launches this week, called Perennial Postage. It is part of an amazing product suite, that I know you will love! I will use these dies a lot!
To finish it all off, I stayed true to form and blinged it up. I created custom rhinestones by coloring Rhinestone Basic Jewels with a Parakeet Party Stampin’ Blends Marker, and paired them with metallic ribbon.
To Create this Card:
Card base of In Color Textured Specialty Paper cut 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″
Front layer of In Color Textured Specialty Paper cut 5 1/4″ x 4″
Vellum layer cut 2 1/2″ x 3 1/4″
Basic White cardstock die-cut with 2″ x 2 3/4″ Perennial Postage Die
Inside layer of Basic White cardstock cut 4 3/4″ x 3 1/2″
Randomly stamp sentiment on front layer in Parakeet Party ink. Tie ribbon bow around layer, than adhere to card front with dimensionals. Stamp sentiment on die-cut in Memento Black ink. Splatter with Daffodil Delight ink, and adhere to Vellum layer. Adhere Vellum layer to card front with dimensionals. On a scrap of Basic White cardstock, stamp watermelon rind in Parakeet Party ink. Stamp inside of watermelon in Melon Mambo ink. Add seeds in Memento Black ink. Punch with Modern Oval punch, trim, and adhere to card front with dimensionals. Color Basic Rhinestone Jewels with a Parakeet Party Stampin’ Blends Marker and add to card. Stamp inside sentiment in Memento Black ink on Basic White layer and adhere inside card.

Welcome to another fun Color Fusers blog hop where I am featuring the Beautiful Balloons Bundle from Stampin’ Up! for the December 2023 color challenge.
This month’s color challenge is a great wintery color combination, which I thought would be great for a birthday card. Any color could easily be substituted on this card, making it a great layout to use all year long.
Orchid Oasis was used for multiple elements to pull this card together, and the other colors were used for balloon elements. It is clean and simple.
Silver accents were the perfect choice to sprinkle in. I used Rhinestone Basic jewels and some Silver 1/8″ Ribbon. This ribbon is part of the Online Exclusive offering, which can be found in my online store. It comes as a 2 pack with gold as well!
To Create this Card
Thick Basic White card base cut 4 1/4″ x 11″, scored at 5 1/2″
Front layer of Basic White 3 3/4″ x 5″
4 1/4″ 5 1/2″ Basic White for stamping
Stamp streamers across top of front layer, and sentiment along the bottom, in Orchid Oasis ink. Adhere to card front. Stamp balloons in all 3 colors on Basic White cardstock. Stamp confetti on the 2 larger balloons in Orchid Oasis ink. Die cut and adhere to card font. Die cut a tassel from Orchid Oasis cardstock and adhere to bottom of large balloon. Tie a ribbon bow and adhere to largest balloon. Add Rhinestone Jewels as desired. Stamp front sentiment on Basic White cardstock, and a sentiment inside card, in Orchid Oasis ink. Stamp sentiment a second time, and trim ‘celebration’ down small enough to adhere over the stamped sentiment with dimensionals.
