I am loving all the snowflakes right now, and today I’m sharing another quick card featuring simple masked backgrounds on this project created with the amazing Snowy Delights Dies and Snowy Delights Decorative Masks.
Another quick and easy project, this time, with gorgeous detail created using masks!

#165807 Snow Delights Dies
The Snowy Delights Dies are phenomenal! They are big. And that makes it easy to create projects with them. Focus on a simple background, then add a large snowflake on top, and BOOM – done!! Simple, elegant, and fast.
For this project, I pulled in the coordinating Snowy Delights Decorative Masks. This set of 4 masks can be used together in endless combinations. Pair them with the dies or use individually, like on this project. I just picked one, lightly blended Cloud Cover ink on Cloud Cover cardstock, then splattered with Wink of Stella.

The sentiment is from the Snowflake Kisses Stamp Set and stamped in my favorite – Secret Sea ink.
Project Variation
I created a variation of today’s project as well. I used Misty Moonlight ink on Basic White cardstock. Switched up the embellishments to Misty Moonlight & Silver Edged Ribbon and Charming Shimmer Faceted Dots. Both of these are on the Last Chance list and discounted. I love a great deal, and these are must haves. The dots are on low inventory though, so don’t wait to get a pack!

Do you love the beautiful foil? This is Flower Garden Foil. It comes in a pack with 3 colors and 2 different patterns. It’s gorgeous!
Paper-Saving Tip: die cut the snowflake from foil layer before adhering your layers together!
Such a beautiful project, and so simple and fun to make!
To Create This Card
- Card Base: Cloud Cover Cardstock 4-1/4″ x 11″, scored at 5-1/2″
- Front Layer: Cloud Cover Cardstock 3-3/4″ x 5″
- Flower Garden Foil: 3-7/8″ x 5-1/8″ (front) and 3-1/2″ x 3-1/2″ (snowflake)
- Basic White Cardstock: 2″ x 1-1/4″ (for sentiment label)
Randomly blend 3 snowflakes on front cardstock layer using a Snowy Delights Masks and Cloud Cover ink. Splatter with Wink of Stella, then set aside to dry. Tie ribbon in a bow around layer, then adhere to foil. Add to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Adhere snowflake to card front with Mini Glue Dots. Stamp sentiment in Secret Sea ink on Basic White label. Adhere to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Embellish with gems.
For the alternative project: use Basic White Cardstock in place of Cloud Cover, and Misty Moonlight ink instead of Cloud Cover and Secret Sea. I splattered with a Misty Moonlight Stampin’ Blend and Wink of Stella.
