Welcome to day 8 of 12 Days of Christmas with Brenda and Melanie! We are so happy to have you back! And today, I am sharing an adorable card using both the Gingerbread Man and Homemade Treats bundles, and I love it!

My crafty friend Brenda Zorn, from Stamps & Stretchy Pants, and I are sharing daily holiday inspiration through our 12 Days of Christmas using the Homemade Treats and Gingerbread Man bundles for or projects. They are both so cute! And by sharing so many projects using them, you will have tons of ideas for using your bundles!
Both bundles pair so well together! For this project, I pulled the large candy cane elements from the Gingerbread Man Dies (these just went out of stock, but will be back in just a week or 2).

Candy Cane Love
I thought the candy canes from the Gingerbread Man Dies would make adorable hearts, so I used 2 of them to create the focal point. There is only one candy cane, but if you flip the die cuts over, you can have candy canes that face both directions.

The sentiment is big, so I pulled this label from the Label Me Grateful Die set, which works perfectly, and added texture to the background with the Soft Waves 3D Embossing Folder.

To Create This Project
- Thick Basic White card base cut 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″, scored at 4-1/4″
- Real Red layer 5″ x 3-3/4″
- Basic White layer cut 4-7/8″ x 3-5/8″ and embossed
- Die cut label from a 3-1/2″ x 2-1/2″ piece of Basic White cardstock
- Cut and assemble (2) sets of candy canes from Basic White and Real Red Cardstock
Adhere embossed layer to Real Red layer, then adhere to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Splatter card front with Basic Black Stampin’ Blends Marker. Stamp sentiment on label in Memento Black ink and adhere to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Adhere candy canes together to form a heart, then add to card front with Stampin’ Dimensioanls. Stamp (3) gingerbread men in Pecan Pie ink. Die cut with coordinating die and adhere to card front. Embellish with a black twine bow and peppermints.
