This project is so easy to create, and provides a real, WOW!, for the recipient. I have been making several of these lately using all different stamp sets. It’s a great fold, and they turn out great! Today, I used the Jar of Joy Stamp Set. It’s so cute! And anytime there is a good punch, I’m all in!

Create the Fold

The base of this card is a simple trifold card with an added diagonal score line on the two end sections. Be sure to make the score lines in the same direction. When you fold the points from the diagonal score down, this creates the flip front.

Build the Layers

The front of the card has a main layer embossed with the Forever Plaid 3D Embossing Folder, then layered with cardstock and the punched jar element using the colors of this month’s color challenge.

To Create this Project

  • 12″ x 4″ Old Olive scored at 4″ and 8″ on the long edge, then scored on the diagonal in the same direction on both end sections,
  • (2) 3-3/4″ x 3-3/4″ Mossy Meadow, emboss (1) with the Forever Plaid 3D Embossing Folder
  • (2) 3-1/8″ x 3-1/8″ Basic Black
  • (2) 3″ x 3″ Basic White
  • 1-1/2″ x 1″ Old Olive

Score card base along all score lines, folding diagonal points back to create the front. Adhere embossed layer to one side of card front. Blend both Basic White layers lightly with Old Olive ink, then splatter with Basic Black ink. Stamp sentiments on both in Memento Black ink. Stamp jar outline in Memento Black ink, and cookies in Pecan Pie ink. Punch and adhere to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Stamp jar lid in Memento Black ink on Old Olive cardstock and punch. Adhere to jar. Tie a black twine bow and adhere to lid of jar. Adhere Remaining Mossy Meadow layer inside card. Adhere Basic White layer to Basic Black layer, then adhere inside card.
