Happy New Year and welcome to another year of color challenges, which I am kicking off with a project made with the Hugs for Love bundle.
There is so much happening at Stampin’ Up! this month, including a new catalog! The Hugs for Love Bundle will be available starting January 7th with the launch of the January – April 2025 Mini Catalog. It’s always so fun seeing a new catalog full of amazing products!
This month’s color challenge is lovely, and made me think of winter. The Drizzling Droplets background stamp was perfect for a snowy look. I added clear embossing as well for added depth. Sadly, it went on clearance and sold out since preparing today’s project, however, the sentiment and punched shape is from the upcoming Hugs for Love stamp and punch Bundle. I love the clean bold font.
To Create This Project:
- Thick Basic White Cardstock: 4 1/4″ x 11″ scored at 5 1/2″
- Basic White Cardstock: 3 3/4″ x 5″ stamped layer
- Smoky Slate Cardstock: 3 7/8″ x 5 1/8″ layer
- Sentiment Label: Basic White
Ink Drizzling Droplets stamp with Balmy Blue ink, then lightly with Blueberry Bushel ink. Stamp on Basic White layer. Clean stamp and stamp a second time in Versamark ink. Sprinkle with clear embossing powder and heat with a Heat Tool. Adhere stamped layer to Smoky Slate layer, then to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Stamp sentiment in Blueberry Bushel ink on Basic White cardstock. Punch with the To The Point Label Punch. Adhere label to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Punch a Balmy Blue heart and adhere to label. Finish front with a white twine bow. Stamp sentiment inside card in Blueberry Bushel ink.
