Welcome to the October Color Fusers Blog Hop where I chose to share using the Regal Flora Bundle. The beautiful floral images worked really well with this month’s color challenge, and I love the Petal Pink flowers!
I kept this month’s project really simple, using only the bundle, Basic White Cardstock, and embellishments. The color combination was so pretty, and really felt like fall to me, so I let it shine through.
The tag in the Regal Flora die set is a definite favorite! I love the rounded corners and edge detail. It is so unique, and adds an amazing element to any project.
Wild Wheat really speaks to me this time of year, I think it’s a great gold to work into fall and holiday crafting. It has made it into a lot of my projects the past couple of weeks! On today’s project, I used it for first and second generation stamping to vary the intensity of color for the foliage.
To create this project:
- Card Base – Thick Basic White Cardstock 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″
- Front Layer – Basic White 5″ x 3 3/4″
- Label – Basic White
- Stamping/Die Cutting – 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″
Stamp flowers in Petal Pink and foliage in Wild Wheat. Die cut with coordinating dies. Create dots on front layer in Calypso Coral ink, than adhere to card front. Stamp sentiment in Calypso Coral ink on white label. Adhere label to center of card front with Stampin’ Diimensionals. Arrange flowers and foliage on card front. Adhere in place using Mini Glue Dots and Stampin’ Dimensionals. Tie a Wild Wheat Jute bow and adhere with a Mini Glue Dot. Embellish with foiled gems.
