Thanks for joining us for the August Color Fusers Blog Hop where I am actually CASEing myself using the Latte Love Bundle.
Recently, I shared projects featuring the A Little Latte Suite on my Facebook page. I loved this simple card, and the pops of color created by coloring the coffee cups with Stampin’ Blends Markers. So today, I decided to change up the colors. The original had bright, bold colors. However, today’s project features the soft colors of the color challenge.
This card is pretty simple. Any good color combination would look great! The original featured 6 colors, and today’s features only 3. However, the project is still so sweet, with pops of color to keep it fresh and fun.
Wondering what the original project looked like? Here it is!
On the original, I stamped the latte foam using Basic Beige ink. However, on today’s project, I heat embossed the foam using clear embossing powder, then added a bit of Basic Beige ink over the top using a Blending Brush.
To Create Today’s Project:
- Card Base: Thick Basic White – 4 1/4″ x 11″ scored at 5 1/2″
- Front Layer: Basic White – 4″ x 5 1/4″
- Sentiment: Basic White – 1 3/4″ x 1 3/4″
Stamp (6) coffee cups in black ink on front layer. Color with Stampin’ Blends Markers of choice. Stamp latte foam in Versamark ink and heat emboss with clear embossing powder. Lightly color foam with Basic Beige ink and a Blending Brush. Adhere layer to card front. Stamp sentiment in black ink on white cardstock. Die cut with coordinating die from the Latte Love die set, and adhere inside cup with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Add a black twine bow, and gems as desired. Stamp sentiment inside card in black ink.
