Thank you for joining us on the May 2024 Color Fusers Blog Hop. I am using the adorable Trusty Tools Stamp set, which has carried over into the new catalog. It is paired with some new products to show how versatile it can be for anyone!
But before we get into the details, how about this color challenge! I love the tone-on-tone paired with one of my favorite neutrals.
The new Annual Catalog is now live! And if you have not had a chance to browse it yet, it is worth the peek! I am using the Spotlight on Nature Dies on this card to create the sentiment label. These dies are amazing, and part of a beautiful bundle, at a discounted price!
The die set features all circles with 3 different patterned edges. And each pattern comes in 4 different sizes! They will be a great new staple to add to your stash. I have already used them a ton!
The Details
With great focal points, the details can be kept to a minimum. I went simple again this month. The Fun Patterns Embossing Folder from the latest Online Exclusives release added a nice background detail. I also added some Moody Mauve ink and Wink of Stella splatters.
The embellishing was done with a strand of Pebbled Path Jute Trim layered under the label, and a few Bubble Bath pearls.
Create this Project
- Card base: Bubble Bath Cardstock cut 4 1/4″ x 11″ scored at 5 1/2″
- Front layer: Bubble Bath Cardstock cut 4″ x 5 1/4″
- Sentiment label: Bubble Bath Cardstock die cut with the second from smallest circle die
Emboss the front layer about 1 1/2″ in on long edge. Stamp pencil repeatedly across bottom of front layer in Pebbled Path ink. Splatter layer with Moody Mauve ink using a Stampin’ Write Marker, then splatter with Wink of Stella. Set aside to dry. Die cut the sentiment label and stamp sentiment in Moody Mauve ink. Separate the jute and adhere a bow made with a single strand behind sentiment. Adhere sentiment to card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Embellish as desired with pearls.
