And here we are again, sharing day 7 of our 12 Days of Christmas. Today I have reached for the Trucking Along Bundle to share another simple card featuring the adorable old fashioned truck. I hope you have had a chance to check in each day, and see what my friend Brenda Nelson over at Stamps & Stretchy Pants, and I have been sharing. Aren’t her projects amazing?

You may remember the box I shared on day 1, which featured the Trucking Along stamp set. Well, here is another project, this time featuring the Trucking Along Bundle. I love square cards, so for today’s project, I created a 4 1/4″ square card, which fits in a standard envelope. It is a nice alternative size and is fun to use with the little truck.

This design also features an embossing folder. The Merry Melody 3D Embossing Folder is perfect for holiday creating, and creates a great backdrop on this card. I used the Nested Essentials Dies to create a small layer for placement of this adorable red truck from the Trucking Along stamp set.

To create this card:

cut a 4 1/4″ x 8 1/2″ Thick Basic White card base, scored at 4 1/4″
Basic Black layer cut 4″ x 4″
Sweet Sorbet 3 7/8″ x 3 7/8″ layer, embossed

Adhere the embossed layer to the black layer, then adhere to card base with dimensionals. Die cut the largest banner shape from Basic White cardstock using the Nested Essentials Dies. Stamp sentiment on banner using black ink. Stamp the truck outline and tires on white cardstock in black ink. Add the truck fill with Sweet Sorbet ink, then punch using the Truck Builder Punch. Stamp tree on white cardstock in Shaded Spruce ink. Fussy cut and adhere to bed of truck. Add truck to banner using dimensionals. Tie a silver cord bow around banner, then adhere to card front with dimensionals. Add pearls to tree as desired. Stamp sentiment inside card in black ink.
