Welcome to the November 2022 Color Fusers Blog Hop where I am sharing an adorable wintery scene card made with the Trees for Sale stamp set and Wink of Stella snow.

This was a good color combination to create a traditional wintery Christmas scene, and this stamp set provides several options to ramp up the cuteness factor. I just love this little dog!

The diagonal stripe Designer Series Paper comes from the Santa Express collection, and works perfectly with the trees, which were stamped in Shaded Spruce ink.

To create the color variation, I stamped part of the tree in full strength ink, and the other part, I stamped off once on scrap paper before stamping. This is a quick & simple way to create color variation, and is sometimes called second-generation stamping.
Attention to Details
The little details can really make a difference. For this project, check out the Wink of Stella splatters which are used to create a snow effect. These splatters are easy to create. Simply Squeeze a Wink of Stella to get paint in the bristles, then flick the bristles to create the splatters on your project.

To create this card:
- Use an 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ Poppy Parade card base, scored at 4 1/4″
- Cut the designer series paper layer 5 3/8″ x 4 1/8″
- Die cut the second from largest Scalloped Contours rectangle from Basic White cardstock
Stamp some snowflakes in Poppy Parade ink onto the designer series paper layer, then adhere to card base. Stamp trees on scalloped rectangle in Shaded Spruce ink, stamping off once for the solid stamps. Add the Poppy Parade bow to one tree. Stamp the string of lights in Memento Black ink and color with a Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Blends marker. Stamp sentiment in Poppy Parade ink, fussy cut, and add to card front. Embellish as desired with rhinestones. Splatter with Wink of Stella.
