Welcome to the Color Fusers September 2022 color challenge blog hop where I am using the Hello Harvest Bundle to create a gorgeous fall all occasions card.
The color challenge this month includes one of my favorite Stampin’ Up! colors, Blackberry Bliss!
Color Fusers Colors
What a great color challenge to dive into a fall project. I love the contrast between the lighter colors and Blackberry Bliss.
I couldn’t wait to use this awesome scalloped edge die from the new Apple Blossoms die set. This set is part of the Perfect Partners promotion, available this month only, and pairs with the Apple Harvest stamp set from the mini catalog. This month only, you can get the Apple Harvest stamp and die bundle at a discount, but only while supplies last on the dies.
Look at the incredible detail piece on the scallop! It cuts as a separate piece from the solid scallop, and both cut at the same time. I tucked the scalloped pieces under the embossed layer, which was created with the Leaf Fall 3D Embossing Folder from the mini catalog.
Hello Harvest
The stamped images and sentiment are from the beautiful Hello Harvest bundle. This bundle has amazing dies. It was one of my favorites from the new catalog. It’s also a great set to use all year long, in different color combinations, to match the season.
It all pairs perfectly to create a beautiful card.
To create this card:
- use an 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ Blackberry Bliss card base scored at 4 1/4″
- cut and emboss a 3 3/8″ x 5″ Blackberry Bliss layer
- die cut a Blackberry Bliss and Fresh Fresia scallop
Stamp leaves in Fresh Fresia ink on Shimmery White cardstock and die cut. Stamp sentiment in Pale Papaya ink on Shimmery White cardstock and punch ends. Adhere embossed layer to card base with dimensionals. Adhere scallops under bottom edge of layer. Arrange leaves on card front. Add sentiment. Embellish with ribbon bow and gems.
