Have you ever looked at a card, and thought, 'Wow! How did they do that?'  Well, let me show you how easy it can be to make a card like that.

The new Celebrations Duo embossing folders in the Occasions catalog can be easy to miss.  They are tucked into the upper corner of page 40, which features the amazing stamp set, Happy Celebrations

That amazing stamp set happens to coordinate with these little gems.  These embossing folders actually deboss the image, meaning, instead of being raised (embossed), it indents the image (debossed).

Any Stampin' Up! embossing folder can create embossed or debossed pieces to use on your projects.  What is the benefit of using an image debossed you may ask?  Let me show you!

The affect you get after stamping over the top of the debossed image is amazing! The best part is, when the Celebrations Duo embossing folders are combined with the coordinating Happy Celebrations stamp set, the possibilities are endless!

This card is quick and easy.  After debossing with the Celebrate folder, I stamped over it with Pool Party and Bermuda Bay ink, using a circle stamp, which allows the sentiment to pop.  The rest of the sentiment was stamped in Bermuda Bay.  I embellished this card simply with 1/8" gold ribbon and a few gold sequins.  Finally, since Wink of Stella is one of my favorite crafting items ever, it found it's way onto this project as splatters across the card front.
